Does the sillyness ever stop???

After we did our family home evening this evening we played a game of follow the leader and then we did some toe touches, dancing, and jumping up and down. It was so much fun! Our child have this thing that they love to do, and what it is that they do is, they lay on the ground in front of us, and love it when we pretend to step on them, that gets them going, and laughing so hard it's totally cute, so we put it on video for everyone to enjoy. Clayton video taped this, so you must excuse his VERY rude behavior when the video first comes on, and you hear a very loud burp, but hey that's Clayton for ya what can I say???

Scattered Brain...

So I had a few random thoughts going through my head all at once, and I really didn't want to post three different blogs, so I combined all of my scattered brain-ness (is that even a word?) in one blog so here it goes. The first picture was taken roughly two weeks ago, when I decided to dye my hair and cut it, I dyed one shade darker then my natural hair color, and cut off 4 inches, Clayton hated it at first, but it's starting to grow on him. It's a change something different!

The next two pictures are of Madison when she woke up the other morning, her hair was so crazy we laughed really hard, and thought it to be picture worthy. As crazy as it looks, she is still "Super Cute" When I was her age my hair did the same thing, heck even now on some days when I wake up my hair looks like that!!!

And the last two pictures, Clayton took, at bath time, the kids were so excited and happy that they had bubbles in there bath tub! Bath pictures are always cute pictures, and worth sharing!!!

Good Wife Tip #5

Good Wife Tip #5 "Happy Homecoming" - When your husband walks through the front door, take his coat and guide home to his favorite easy chair. Offer him the evening newspaper, his slippers and a dry martini to take the edge off. If he appears fatigued or cranky from his traffic-laden commute, a relaxing foot rub or shoulder massage may be in order.

OK, so I don't know about anyone else, but I have hard days quite often, staying home with two little munchkins, and I don't see anyone doing any of that for me. I'll make a deal with Clayton if he does that for me 3 days out of the week then I'll do that for him 3 days out of the week...LOL

Pumpkin Craving!!!

Since Halloween is right around the corner, we had a family fun filled night, and craved our pumpkin! Grandon loved it, he had so much fun! Look how good of a job he is doing here!!!

He's working really hard on getting all the pumpkin seeds out!!!

Madison on the other hand, pretty much screamed her head off, and got really mad at me for trying to get her to stick her hand in the pumpkin. If you look real close you can see one of her many diva faces! She's like "Mom, I don't think so"

After working very hard we finished our silly pumpkin face, and this is what it looked like, we thought it turned out pretty darn cute!!!

Good Wife Tip #4

Sorry I'm so behind on the blogging, but I've been laid up in bed very very sick! So while I was laid up, I was able to read The Twilight Saga, and fell in love with them! They are such good books, and are slowing becoming an obsession...Can't wait for the movie to come out, I've already planned a date night with Clayton for that night, we haven't been out in almost 5 months! We SOOO need it, anyways here is this weeks Good Wife Tip "Cleanliness...Is Next to Godliness!" Make sure that the house is spotless before he's due to arrive home. Give the furniture a quick dusting, pick any wayward toys and make sure all unsightly laundry and ironing has been put away. Your house should be sparkling by the time he sets foot in it! I know my house isn't anywhere near clean, anyone wanna come clean it for me????

Give your hair an extra shellacking of hair spray, re-apply your make-up, and trade in your housecoat for a stylish frock that shows off your figure.


They all make me laugh so hard. To all you housewives out there that actually do take the time, and do this for your husband, I envy you, because I know I don't have the time nor the energy half of the time to do it for Clayton.

Fiesta Texas or Church???

OK, OK, so we were TOTALLY bad, and played hooky last Sunday and went to Fiesta Texas instead of going to church. It was my brother's company picnic, and he got us free passes to get in. The picnic was awesome, they feed us food, snacks, and drinks. They had face painting and balloon clowns for the kids, and they had games set up for the kids to play, and they ALWAYS won a prize, and all of it was FREE. They also gave us tickets to come back, and enjoy the park on another day, which won't be a Sunday! How cool is that. Once the picnic was over, then we had the rest of the day to play and ride all the rides that we wanted. It was a lot of fun, and the kids had a good time.
