So I didn't do last weeks FMM, so here I am this week catching up!

My Faith, I LOVE my church, and I'm so happy that I found it and joined!

Mod Podge...Fall

Okay, so I NEVER thought I'd have enough talent or faith in myself to pull off a Mod Podge project, but after much inspiration from Xazmin I decided to take a leap of faith and try!

So I kinda copied her example of the "Boo!" blocks, but did "Fall" ones. This is my first try at this so don't be to hard on my finished project.

Okay, so I know this isn't the best picture of the close up, but I'm having to use an old camera that doesn't work very well, since our good one broke!

Lapband Update....

Since Friday I've been waiting to hear back from Roxanne who is my lap band coordinator. As of September 16th, 2009 at 3:12 PM I got an email from Roxanne saying that as of Friday she has sent my case to Cigna, my insurance company for approval.

It usually takes about 2 weeks, but can take up to a month. Starting Monday I will be calling Cigna at least once/twice a week asking about the status of my approval. This just helps them move faster on my case. The faster they move the faster my surgery can be.

Needless to say her email just made my whole day! We've been waiting what seems like forever to finally get to this point! The light is most defiantly at the end of the tunnel! As soon as we have a final answer with the approval I'll let everyone know!

Once we get approval, we have three more steps:

Step one: My 2nd appointment with the psychotherapist

Step two: My final consult with the surgeon

Step three: Pre-Register for surgery

After I've complete those three things, then it's time to schedule surgery! I'll keep y'all updated!!!

Friend Making Monday...

So it has been FOREVER since I've done a friend making monday. But on my quest to become a better blogger here I am.

Grandon's first day of Pre-School!!!

Grandon officially started pre-k 3 today! He looked so cute and BIG going to school.

Although he DID NOT want to get up this morning. He kept telling me, mom the big light isn't out yet, I don't want to get up. I'm going back to bed now!!! It was so cute, he ate breakfast, went potty, got dressed, and off we went!

We got to his school, he was a little nervous at first, but then we went into his classroom and right to the train table he went. He acted and looked like such a big boy! We put his stuff in his cubbie box and then put his name tag on him.

When it was time for me to leave our conversation went like this:

Me: Okay, Grandon it's time for mommy to take sister to gymnastics, you be a good boy and I love you!

Grandon: Okay, Mom, but mom make sure you don't leave me.

Me: Grandon, I have to leave for a little while, but I'll be back to get you I promise. Your going to have so much fun at school.

Grandon: I know mom, take sister to gymnastics, but make sure you don't leave me here, Okay mom, don't forget to come back for me, don't leave me here till the big light* goes away.

Me: Okay, Grandon I won't, I'll come back when school is over, I promise, I love you, give me kisses.

Grandon: OKAY, MOM! Bye!!!

I then walked out his classroom and promptly started crying! I still can't believe my baby boy is in school!!! But he had a great first day, he played with puzzles, finger paint, sand, water, and learned how to read stop signs!!!

*A little side note, if you are wondering what big light means it's the sun*
