Good Wife Tip #5

Good Wife Tip #5 "Happy Homecoming" - When your husband walks through the front door, take his coat and guide home to his favorite easy chair. Offer him the evening newspaper, his slippers and a dry martini to take the edge off. If he appears fatigued or cranky from his traffic-laden commute, a relaxing foot rub or shoulder massage may be in order.

OK, so I don't know about anyone else, but I have hard days quite often, staying home with two little munchkins, and I don't see anyone doing any of that for me. I'll make a deal with Clayton if he does that for me 3 days out of the week then I'll do that for him 3 days out of the week...LOL

Pumpkin Craving!!!

Since Halloween is right around the corner, we had a family fun filled night, and craved our pumpkin! Grandon loved it, he had so much fun! Look how good of a job he is doing here!!!

He's working really hard on getting all the pumpkin seeds out!!!
Madison on the other hand, pretty much screamed her head off, and got really mad at me for trying to get her to stick her hand in the pumpkin. If you look real close you can see one of her many diva faces! She's like "Mom, I don't think so"
After working very hard we finished our silly pumpkin face, and this is what it looked like, we thought it turned out pretty darn cute!!!
Here is a video of Grandon gutting the pumpkin, he was such a good sport! Happy Halloween everyone stay safe and have fun trick or treating!!!

Good Wife Tip #4

Sorry I'm so behind on the blogging, but I've been laid up in bed very very sick! So while I was laid up, I was able to read The Twilight Saga, and fell in love with them! They are such good books, and are slowing becoming an obsession...Can't wait for the movie to come out, I've already planned a date night with Clayton for that night, we haven't been out in almost 5 months! We SOOO need it, anyways here is this weeks Good Wife Tip "Cleanliness...Is Next to Godliness!" Make sure that the house is spotless before he's due to arrive home. Give the furniture a quick dusting, pick any wayward toys and make sure all unsightly laundry and ironing has been put away. Your house should be sparkling by the time he sets foot in it! I know my house isn't anywhere near clean, anyone wanna come clean it for me????

Good Wife Tip # 3

Here is the newest Good Wife Tip! Tip #3: "Put Your Best Face Forward" Before he arrives home from work, take a few minutes to transform yourself from toiling housewife to vision of earthly delight. Give your hair an extra shellacking of hair spray, re-apply your make-up, and trade in your housecoat for a stylish frock that shows off your figure.

They all make me laugh so hard. To all you housewives out there that actually do take the time, and do this for your husband, I envy you, because I know I don't have the time nor the energy half of the time to do it for Clayton.

Fiesta Texas or Church???

OK, OK, so we were TOTALLY bad, and played hooky last Sunday and went to Fiesta Texas instead of going to church. It was my brother's company picnic, and he got us free passes to get in. The picnic was awesome, they feed us food, snacks, and drinks. They had face painting and balloon clowns for the kids, and they had games set up for the kids to play, and they ALWAYS won a prize, and all of it was FREE. They also gave us tickets to come back, and enjoy the park on another day, which won't be a Sunday! How cool is that. Once the picnic was over, then we had the rest of the day to play and ride all the rides that we wanted. It was a lot of fun, and the kids had a good time.

Good Wife Tip #2

Hello all yet once again! Here is the Good Wife Tip for the week: "A Recipe for Success" Just as it would be unthinkable to serve frozen TV dinners or re-heated leftovers to an honored guest, these offering should not be considered acceptable dinner fare for the man you adore. Give him a hearty home-cooked meal- one that's prepared from scratch and seasoned with love. The hours you spend over a hot stove will be repaid in full when he eagerly asks for seconds! Hope you enjoy tip # 2, I don't know about you, but Clayton gets leftovers...LOL

Good Wife Tip #1

Clayton bought me this book called "The Good Wife Guide" and there are 19 hysterically funny tips on how to be a good wife. It shows what such great humor he has. He thought it would be a good idea for me to share these tips with you, so once a week I'll post a new tip, please find the humor in it as we did, and feel free to share with everyone you know, it's good for a great laugh.

Good Wife Tip #1:

"A Wife's Duty"

A man's house is HIS castle and as such, he ought to be treated like a KING. When he returns home from a demanding eight hours on the job (or more!), he rightfully deserves a bit of pampering. It's every wife's responsibility to dote upon her hard-working spouse, to show that he is truly appreciated!

Hope you enjoy the tip of the week!

Had Some Catching Up To Do...

Just in case you couldn't tell we hadn't posted anything in awhile, We've spent more time trying to make our blog look pretty then actually posting something, so I got some energy, and posted five blogs at one time, sorry if it takes 20 minutes to read them all, and get all caught up on what's been going on in our corner of the world, but I promise they are worth reading, and have some great and really cute pictures to go with them. Enjoy miss and love everyone! Love, Clayton and Tiffany

Bacon is the NEW Phone...

Only my family would have such a wonderful time eating breakfest. I'm not so sure just how much eating was done, but hey we have a good time with it. Every morning Grandon crawls into bed with me after Daddy has left for work, and he calls his Oma (my mother). Well since daddy was home because it's the weekend, he didn't do his normal M-F routine. As we are eating our eggs and bacon, Grandon takes his bacon unfolds it, and puts it to his ear, and starts saying "Hello Oma, Oma? Hello?" He was having a conversation with his bacon like it was a phone. We laughed so hard, and thought it was really cute, because Grandon has made the newest, hippest, phone to have called "The Bacon Phone" Clayton started making fun of him, and started to play with his food, and use it as a phone as well. Madison on the other hand pretty much looked at the two of them like they were idiots (she's pretty good at that), and simply just stuck her tongue out at them, but what was funny about that is she had egg on the end of her tongue. OH, what a wonderful start for a Saturday morning.
